2025 Darling Downs Open - Club Trip - Expression of Interest

Calling all GCCC members! Interested in travelling to Toowoomba for a big weekend of chess for the Byron Capital Darling Downs Open ?

We're gauging interest in attending the Byron Capital Darling Downs Open, happening 2–6 October 2025 at Toowoomba Grammar School in Toowoomba,

At our upcoming meeting on Monday, 15/09, we’ll be discussing ways the club can use funds to support members attending the trip.

Topics include discounted tournament entry fees, possible contributions toward accommodation, and a club team dinner on Saturday night.
