In memory of Vaso Dakovic – Gold Coast’s Blitz Legend
The Gold Coast Chess Club proudly presents the sixth annual Vaso Blitz Cup. This year the event expands into a three-week festival of blitz chess, culminating in the crowning of the 2026 Gold Coast Blitz Champion.
Format:
The event runs over three consecutive weeks.
Weeks 1 and 2 are open Swiss qualifiers (9 rounds each, 5+0 time control).
