Burleigh Rapid Night

A Rapid, ACF Quick and QJ rated 5-round Swiss tournament.

Total Prize Pool:  Prizes will be be determined based on entries

Entry Fee:

$15 (GCCC Members $10)

Time control: 13 minutes + 2 seconds increment from move 1

Conditions of Entry:

All Queensland residents must be current members of the CAQ to participate in the event.

CAQ Membership can be collected at registration or paid in advance online on the CAQ website

Pairing System:

Vega using Swiss Dutch FIDE JaVaFo

Tie Break:

1.Buchholz Cut 1; 2.Buchholz; 3.Direct Encounter.

Schedule:

Registration: Friday 6:45pm

Round 1 @ 7pm Rounds 2-5 will commence once all players are complete their rounds.

Forfeiture time:

13 minutes from start time.

Half Point Byes:

Up to 2 Half point byes will be awarded to registered players who let the arbiter know in advance of their late arrival

In case of a tie, the Tournament title will be decided on tie-break but all prize money for placings will be evenly split.
