2023 CAQ membership is required.

Non-Members  $60

Time control:

60 minutes + 10 seconds increment from move 1

Round 1 6:45 pm Tuesday 7 Feb

Round 2 6:45 pm Tuesday  14 Feb

Round 3 6:45 pm Tuesday  21 Feb

Round 4 6:45 pm Tuesday  28 Feb

Round 5 6:45 pm Tuesday  7 Mar

Round 6 6:45 pm Tuesday  14 Mar

Pairing System:

Vega using Swiss Dutch FIDE JaVaFo

Tie Break:

1.Buchholz Cut 1;

2.Buchholz;

3.Direct Encounter.

In case of a tie, the Tournament title will be decided on tie-break but all prize money for placings will be evenly split.

Forfeiture time:

30 minutes from the advertised start time.

Byes:

Half Point Byes: A maximum of two half point byes only will be permitted for rounds 1 to 5.

Provisional Pairings will be published on Sunday. The arbiter must be informed by Sunday, 5 pm if you require a bye for the following round.

Prizes:

Modest Prize Pool depending on the number of entries

Arbiters:

The Coomera Summer Classic will be conducted as a player arbiter event.
