
Chess Library
In 2022 the Redlands Chess Club donated their chess library of 165 books to the Gold Coast Chess Club. Studying the chess of the masters is a valuable tool to assist all players learn and grow with their chess. Our library has been catalogued below into categories of interest such as tactics, repertoires, strategy, etc. If you are a GCCC member you may borrow from our library!!

Lending Rules
1- One must be a paid member to borrow books.
2- Members can borrow up to 3 books at once.
3- Books can be borrowed for 3 months.

Lending Rules
4- Books can be renewed once before returning. A member can have a book for 6 months in a row before returning.

5-If a book is loaned a member can reserve the book and will have access to it when it is returned.

6- Books lost or not returned must be replaced by members at cost to them.
If a replacement is not available then a book of the same category/theme is to be found to replace the missing book.
Eg. If one loses a Black Repertoire book and can't find the replacement online then they must buy a similar Black Repertoire book.
