Elijah McNamara takes out the Coomera Summer Grades, winning his first major event at the club. Congratulations Elijah!
Elijah was a very strong junior player who returned to tournament chess at the club this year.
In round 1, Elijah had an upset win against talent junior, Josh Cooper. In round 2, he defeated Ben Skinner, but lost to Oleg Kitikov in round 3. He then went on to win both Round 4 and 5 games against Vilem Fichna and Adrian Andre.
